Just finished a long day of work and feel too lazy to cook? Barilla has some easy and fast recipe solutions that will take a quick meal to the next level! All you need is 10 minutes and one pan (seriously!!!).

You might be thinking, “but does it taste good?” and the answer is, yes. After going to a cooking class at Nella Cucina with head Chef, Lorenzo Boni, I’ll vouch for Barilla and say that I actually love their new Pronto pasta. Not only did it taste great, but I was thrilled that the only prep work was throwing everything into the same pan.

For my dish, I chose the Penne, but Barilla Pronto also comes in Cut Macaroni, Rotini, and Half-cut Spaghetti. Once you’ve picked out a pasta, add three cups of water, then toss your favourite fixings like veggies or leftover chicken or sausage as it cooks.

Besides some casual stirs here and there, your job is pretty much done. The water absorbs and boils in exactly 10 minutes and you’re left with a perfect al dente pasta. To top off my dish I added a generous drizzle of olive oil and some salt and pepper and voila my dinner was done!

So the next time you’re lazy or strapped for time, skip the fast food and make it a #ProntoNight… one pan, no boil, no drain and only a little more than 10 minutes of your time!
