There are a ton of amazing festivals happening in Toronto this summer: Taste of Toronto for foodies, Bestival Music Festival on the island, Field Trip at Fort York, all of these other great music festivals taking place across the GTA and now we’ve got one more to add to the list! The Pan Am Games are coming, which means Toronto is going to be jam packed full of sports, tourists, traffic, and fun things like PANAMANIA.
Presented by CIBC, PANAMANIA is a 35-day arts and cultural festival with over 250 performances and exhibitions. The event, which takes place July 10 to August 15, has three main locations: The Distillery District, Nathan Phillips Square and the CIBC Pan Am Park. During the 35 days, a number of free concerts will be performed and include acts by Dragonette, A Tribe Called Red, Janelle Monae, The Flaming Lips, Chromeo, Death from Above 1979, The Roots, Jan Arden, and many, many more! See the full list free PANAMANIA performances here.
PANAMANIA will also host a series of ticketed presentations that will be scattered across Toronto and include a circus act, a comedy show, a variety of dance and theater performances, fashion exhibits, and art shows. Tickets for these events are already on sale and can be purchased here.
