New year, new stores! Here are all the Toronto store openings we’re most excited to come in Spring 2016:
The Quebec-based department store will open their first Ontario store this March at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. The store will sit at 113,000 square-feet in the former Sears location. Simons will bring clothing and accessories for men and women, as well as home accessories. Their assortment will be a mix of high and low, featuring designers like Just Cavalli, Phillip Lim, Moschino and a variety of house brands.
Update: It has been confirmed that Simons will open on Wednesday, March 17th.
Prepare for affordable home offerings! H&M Home will open their doors at the Eaton Centre on February 25, 2016. Expect to find everything from pillows and curtains for the bedroom to serveware and towels for the kitchen. From what we see on their Canadian website, almost everything will be under $69.99 including what we’d normally consider big-ticket items like rugs and duvet cover sets.
The renowned department store will launch their first Canadian store in Toronto this February. The first will open at the Eaton Centre on February 18, 2016 and the second will open shortly after at Sherway Gardens on February 25, 2016. Both locations will feature food halls by Pusateri’s; stocking food products and gourmet prepared foods, a luxury hair and beauty salon by John Barrett, The Fifth Avenue Club; Saks Fifth Avenue’s personal shopping and styling service; and unique restaurant concepts by Oliver & Bonacini.
With Saks Fifth Avenue comes its off-price sister store, Off 5th. Though no exact dates have been confirmed, the retailer has confirmed that they will open stores at Vaughan Mills and Outlet Collection at Niagara this Spring. The stores will carry over 800 luxury brands for men, women and children, as well as home furnishings. Everything will be up to 70% off including brands like Diane Von Furstenberg, 7 For All Mankind, and Burberry.
