One of the most iconic brands on the planet- CHANEL has just opened their new flagship boutique in the heart of Toronto’s upscale Yorkville neighbourhood. Located at 98 Yorkville Avenue and housed behind an original façade dating from the 1930’s The new luxury space spans two floors and is 600 square meters.
The new space is aesthetically beautiful and borders on mesmerizing. With the interior designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, the CHANEL boutique presents two salons dedicated to Ready-to-Wear collections as well as four accessories salons featuring a selection of shoes, handbags, small leather goods, eyewear and a selection of CHANEL Watches and Fine Jewellery.
When entering the new CHANEL flagship, clients are treated to a retail space with the spirit of an art gallery. Reflecting the House’s longstanding commitment to the arts, as championed by Mademoiselle Chanel in her time, specially-commissioned artworks selected for the boutique blend together harmoniously with the furnishings. The entrance gallery space features an astonishing rock crystal and polished bronze Goossens chandelier and leads into the four salons on the main floor. The first space is dedicated to costume jewellery together with a selection of handbags. Once clients pass through the first salon, the second salon is dedicated solely to shoes. Truly a dream come true. The third salon is devoted to a range of eyewear, small leather goods and other accessories like scarves. Lastly, the fourth salon showcases a selection of bags including CHANEL’s Gabrielle bag Cruise novelties and the BOY CHANEL handbags.
The entire upper floor houses Chanel’s immaculate Ready-to-Wear collections presenting the CHANEL Cruise collection created by Karl Lagerfeld. Designed as an elegant and sophisticated townhouse, this new Flagship boutique showcases CHANEL’s creativity ensuring an unforgettable shopping experience in Toronto.
