Taste of Toronto is just around the corner and it’s one of Toronto’s most anticipated food events of the summer! The second annual festival, which takes place July 2-5, 2015 at Fort York National Historic Site, will feature over 30 of Toronto’s most celebrated chefs and rising stars including Masaharu Morimoto, Alvin Leung, Lynn Crawford and Stuart Cameron.
Festival-goers will have the opportunity to taste unique dishes such as Uni Carbonara with quail egg, smoked bacon and parmesan from Michelin-starred Iron Chef Morimoto; octopus with chargrilled choy sum chimichurri and “yuheung” eggplant from R&D; vanilla panna cotta with port poached rhubarb and caramelized white chocolate from Montecito; and many more. Aside from amazing dishes, some of which you can preview here, attendees will be able to partake in cooking classes lead by Toronto’s top chefs, enjoy live music curated by WayHome Music & Arts, and shop over 70 vendors serving Toronto’s finest olive oils, jams, cheeses, meats, and more!
Sounds pretty amazing, right? General entry tickets are $19 and attendees can purchase dishes individually (starting at $6) or purchase premium or VIP tickets that include meal packages.
