In September 2011, international fashion brand Esprit exited the North American market to focus on Asian and European markets. The news disappointed many Canadian shoppers, including us – the Esprit warehouse sale was and will always be one of our all-time favourites.

We are happy to announce that after almost 5 years, Esprit will be reentering Canada in 2016! The brand has partnered with Montreal-based Freemark Apparel Brands, the Canadian distributor of Bench, Scotch & Soda and more. “With the North American continent being the birthplace of our brand, we are convinced that we can revive the Canadian consumer’s strong relationship with Esprit as it has been missed in the marketplace for several years,” Esprit’s general manager for Europe, Americas & Middle East, Dieter Messner, said in a press release today.

The brand is coming back to Canada and it’s sure to be better than ever, with new lines of casual, sportswear, bodywear, collection and accessories. Come 2016, Esprit will be carried in multiple retailers, as well as online and in stand-alone stores. Exact store locations have yet to be revealed, but we will keep you updated as the story develops.
