On August 15, Harry Rosen launched their brand new store at the Eaton Centre. Clearly unaffected by the economic times, the new store spans 15,000 square feet and offers virtually every relevant luxury brand known to menswear. From Armani Collezioni and Z Zegna to classic lines like Hugo Boss and Canali the store truly is a one stop shop for any man looking to spruce up his wardrobe. Here are some images and photage to give you a quick insiders view on the festivities of that day.

Aside from the pageantry and mass media appeal of the launch Harry Rosen did something that we as proud Torontonians were very happy to see. They teamed up with local artist Sam Shuter who did a live on-sight canvas painting specifically commissioned for the store. For those of you who are unfamilar with Sam’s work make sure to check out the amazing interview we did with her for our Home-Grown Talent feature. You’ll understand why we love and support her so much.  So needless to say, to see one of our own taking such strides in reaching for their dreams is nothing short of inspiring. Having the privilege to witness Sam in action doing doing what she loves to do only reminded us of how much incredibly talent exists in our city.
