As you may have heard, H&M Home is coming to Toronto. The H&M offshoot brand will open next week on Thursday, February 25th as part of H&M’s new Canadian Flagship at Yonge & Dundas.
The H&M Home shop will be housed on the second floor of the H&M Flagship located in CF Eaton Centre. Torontonians and shoppers should be excited as this gives them another great option for affordable home furnishings.
H&M Home was originally launched in 2004 and is designed in Stockholm, Sweden.
We’re expecting that H&M will probably play on many of the trends we are currently seeing in home furnishings and will probably focus on a younger home accessories buyer.
We expect the collection to embrace geometric shapes and patterns, play on the trend of living greenery in houses (planters etc.) and will embrace a minimalist design aesthetic.
When it comes to the typical H&M shopper, in order for H&M home to be successful the items will have to be priced competively. We expect most small accessories ot fall under $30 and pillow covers and bed accessories to be in the $15-$20 range.
We will be covering the opening of H&M Home so make sure to check back with us for updates.
