Since HMV announced its closure a few months ago, the day the famous Yonge Street store would close loomed in the background. Well, it looks like that time has come. Sources close to HMV have stated that on Friday, April 14th, the once mega-retailer will close its flagship Toronto store at 333 Yonge Street for good.
According to an inside source, HMV’s liquidation efforts will be kicked up a notch as pretty much everything remaining will be on sale at deep discounts. It’s even expected that the store will be very busy on this final day, so if you’re looking to get some last minute deals head to store early!
