Instagram has recently announced its plans to introduce a new advertising format called carousel ads. The new feature will allow Instagram users to click on ads, and swipe left for additional images, links and more information. The purposed concept will help brands tell a richer more meaningful story to potential consumers. Essentially advertisers were looking for a way to bring multi-page hyperlinked visual campaigns to the mobile phone, and Instagram is serving this market.
