We are super excited about this. If you’ve ever been to a major city like New York, London or Paris, you may have come across popular minimalist Japanese housewares brand Muji. Known for their sleek designs, and natural looking concepts –  Muji plans to open their Toronto location near the Eaton Centre in Mid-December.

With 3,000 available products available for Canadians to purchase, Muji will be entering a highly competitive market. With housewares players like Ikea, Target, Staples and Shoppers Drug Mart all vying for your dollar, Muji will have to bring it in order to be successful in Canada.

If you’ve never heard of Muji, but love affordable Houseware, we strongly suggest you take look at their website and check it out for yourself.
When we hear of an actual location and opening date we will be sure to update you!

I think it will open up in the old Buffalo Jeans beside Urban Outfitters… This retail location and available space would fit with their usual store design concepts.
