We’ve all done it, you get a brand new pair of shoes that you know you shouldn’t wear outside in the snow, but you can’t resist. You wear them anyways.
If you live in a major metropolitan area like I do, it’s impossible not to get your new kicks caked in salt and covered in dirt. I know, I know you can buy that spray from footlocker that “waterproofs” your shoes, but it doesn’t work. How many times have you seen that little piece of paper towel that is supposed to be resisting water, fully drenched in some tiny bowl at the front counter of a shoe store? Luckily for you, we’ve discovered a way to keep your kicks looking hot all winter long.
I’ve tried a bunch of different shoe cleaning products, and the only one that legitimately works the way it says it will is the Premium Shoe Cleaner from Jason Markk.
Jason Markk Premium shoe cleaner is a gentle foaming solution that’s harsh chemical free, 98.3% natural, completely biodegradable and like I said… It works!
The premium shoe cleaner works on everything: Mesh, leather, suede, nubuck, canvas, vinyl, nylon and more.
Follow 6 easy steps to get icy clean shoes.
To start all you need is a bowl of water, the Jason Markk solution, the Jason Markk Brush, a clean cloth and your dirty kicks.
1) Put water in a bowl and dip brush into bowl of water
2) Apply liberal amount of solution on your brush
3) Dip brush back into bowl of water
4) Scrub shoes creating a nice foaming action
5) Wipe clean with cloth or towel (we used an old t-shirt)
6) Air dry and appreciate your newly cleaned kicks!
