Earlier this year we introduced you to Kit & Ace – a line of “technical cashmere” tees for men and women, brought to you by Shannon Wilson, the former head designer of Lululemon and current wife of Lululemon creator and ex-chairman, Chip Wilson. The Vancouver-based brand opened up their online shop this summer and have just opened their first Toronto location at 779 Queen St. West. The casual and luxurious street wear found at Kit & Ace starts at $68 for a basic tank and up to $498 for an ‘Alpine Blanket‘. The prices seem quite high for a line of basics, but their ‘technical cashmere’ (also called Qemir) is a blend of cashmere, viscose and elastane, making each piece super soft and most importantly, machine washable.

From Kit & Ace:

Qemir™, Kit and Ace’s proprietary fabric, was developed by founder Shannon Wilson and is the foundation of the company’s core product offering. Together Shannon and JJ Wilson’s vision of creating luxury you can live in has come to life. With a long history in retail, they have channeled their mutual passion for innovation, design, fashion and creativity into the evolution of Kit and Ace. We will always be innovating. Our pop-up studios will evolve, our locations will change, our product line will progress and in 100 years we could be making spaceships. Anything is possible and we’ve got big plans. We’ve made it our mission to become the best in the world at t-shirts, to ensure that the highest quality, technical fabric is the first thing on your skin everyday.
