A couple of weeks ago, I had the opportunity to preview the LOFT fall collection. The over all feel for the Fall 2014 pieces was a day to night transition. Since LOFT is known for their stylish work wear, this has obviously remained important, but with even more of a focus on making these core office staples transitional for after-work events. The typical price point for most of what was shown during the preview was around (and under) $100.

I saw a continuation of the sporty look we had seen during SS14 – soft and sweatshirt-like fabrics embellished to create a comfortable yet classic look. Mustard was a key colour story, found on many pieces in the collection. There were many boyfriend styles – feminized by little details like jewel-like buttons. Plaid and LOTS of denim were also key players in the fall collection – particularly in those more masculine looks with a feminine twist. My favourite pieces include the necklace, boots (which were prices around $100, but only available online), and the burgundy coat (which I loved!)
