If Aeropostale does in fact go bankrupt, this would follow three straight years of losses and a decline in customers and brand equity.

It just seems that standard brands from the early 2000’s just can’t survive anymore and are getting financially killed by fast-fashion companies like H&M and Forever 21. The new teen shopper is exposed to new fashion and style hundreds of times a day through social media, and brands that can’t keep up with the ever-changing demands of fast-fashion consumers are struggling to stay afloat.
