When we heard that Massimo Dutti (Zara‘s upscale counterpart) was opening up stores in Canada we were excited, but now that the brand has recently launched Canadian online shopping in, we can’t get enough!

Canadians from east to west will now have access to Massimo Dutti’s urban-chic high quality clothing. ¬†Starting August 22nd the website will offer a full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and sportswear collection, as well as accessories, eyewear, handbags/ leather goods and footwear!

The StyleDemocracy team had an opportunity to preview the website this week, and as far as website go, this one is beautiful! The feel of the website is luxurious, modern and is very easy to navigate. Animated runway graphics help shoppers view clothing in realistic settings. When the site is fully launched, it’s definitely worth checking out.

So far the Massimo Dutti brand has done a great job entering the Canadian market, the cuts and fabrics are fantastic, and the prices are even better. Massimo Dutti has potentially filled a void in the Canadian market (especially for men) they have high-quality modern clothing for professionals that doesn’t cost a fortune. You can find pants as low as $79.99, Shoes starting around $99.99 and shirts starting at $59.99.

When you navigate the website, all prices are listed in Canadian currency – Shipping starts at $4.95 and if you live in the GTA you can have free in-store pick-up (pretty great we know).

Still trying to decide if this brand is for you? Massimo Dutti’s men’s collections appeals to the urban contemporary man with the use of modern cuts while paying strong attention to history and not dwelling on trends. The woman’s collection is made to speak to the sophisticated yet effortless woman. According to the brand, a Massimo Dutti woman is one that is elegant and contemporary, believes in her style while always knowing what she wants.

We think that Massimo Dutti will be a brand to watch in Canada over the next year, so head into one of their stores or check out the new website on August 22nd!

I was just in Europe and bought a number of items at Massimo Dutti, Be sure to buy in Spain as the prices are lower. The clothes are well made with fine details. So happy to hear an online shop is opening this week. Hopefully Vancouver will get a store soon.
