If you’re a fan of warehouse sales, get excited! Toronto is getting a massive movie wardrobe sale at the end of the month which will be selling off clothing and fabrics from four seasons of FX’s The Strain, as well as other TV series.
Slotted for the last weekend of April, the CAFTCAD (The Canadian Alliance of Film & Television Costume Arts and Design) Movie Wardrobe Sale will be operating directly out of the film studio and along with film clothing, will also be selling merchandise from 30 additional vendors.
Styles will be available for men, women and kids, and will be a unique mix of contemporary, designer, and vintage clothing, accessories, handcrafted goods, deadstock, samples, one-of-a-kind pieces, fabrics, wardrobe supplies and more.
For those of you who don’t know, CAFTCAD is a non-profit arts service organization so all proceeds will be going towards the Film and Television Costume Community.
The sale will be taking place on April 29th and 30th at Cinespace Film Studios at 30 Booth Avenue from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and admission is $5. Happy shopping!
