Miku Toronto Named Creators Of “Toronto’s Tastiest Dish”
If you haven’t heard, The world-class restaurant festival Taste of Toronto will be back June 23rd to 26th 2016. To celebrate the upcoming festival, chefs from Miku Toronto, Richmond Station, Los Colibris & El Caballito, and Mamakas Taverna gathered in George Brown College’s state-of-the-art kitchen facilities to cook dishes representative of Toronto. Participating chefs Kazuki Uchigoshi, Hayden Johnston, Elia Herrera and Cora James each led a team of George Brown culinary students and media from Toronto Star, 99.9 Virgin Radio and TheLoop.ca, presenting a diverse range of dishes reflecting the multiculturalism of Toronto.
Once the dish was cooked and completed, each chef presented their prepared dish to a panel of renowned food experts… Well the experts spoke and selected Miku Toronto’s Taste of Lobster, a savoury masterpiece featuring butter-poached lobster temari and nigiri, topped with soy-glazed Wagyu beef, pan-seared foie gras, o-toro and black truffle as “Toronto’s tastiest dish.
You will be able to taste this masterpiece as The winning dish will be served in limited quantities at the Miku Toronto booth for all four delicious days of Taste of Toronto.
