Windsor Bridal may not be a name you’re familiar with today, but it was once the largest bridal store in Toronto. The shop was opened by Herman Miller on Spadina Avenue in 1976 and last month, he announced he would be closing Windsor Bridal’s doors for good. Luckily for brides in the GTA, the closing of the shop means a massive wedding dress sale! The sale features over 6000 wedding dresses from brands like Alfred Sung, Allure, Maggie Sottero, Stella York, Justin Alexander, Kenneth Winston and more, plus all the accessories you need to match the gown including veils, headpieces, shawls, bags and more. The best thing about the sale? Everything must go and they’ve only got 60 days to do it. All gowns – no matter the designer – are on sale for $199 and considering the average wedding of 2014 cost couples just over $31,000 and the average wedding gown cost $1700, $199 is definitely a steal! The sale is located at 1120 Caledonia Road in Toronto, near Lawrence Ave. West and Dufferin St.
