As we all know, Netflix is dominating. With massive hits like Stranger Things, Orange is the New Black and Luke Cage, it’s no surprise that many cable subscribers are cutting the cord and saying goodbye to the dated service.  According to a new report circulating through Reddit, there will be more Netflix Subscribers than cable subscribers by as early as 2017.  The thing that’s important to note in this study is that it does not include satellite TV and phone video providers, strictly cable.

According to the CBC, 190,000 Canadians severed their ties with traditional TV in 2015, which was an 80 per cent increase from the year before. Even high numbers are expected to be recorded by end of 2016.  The CBC also highlights that 4.9 Million Netflix subscriptions exist in Canada meaning that more than 1 in 10 Canadians have a Netflix subscription ( Number of Netflix watchers is considerably higher considering most homes on 2 or more people only have one Netflix account)

So with this in mind will you finally cut the cord as well?
