Need a quick nap? Head to The Snooze Room! Mattress company, Casper, is taking their Snooze Room to four different neighbourhoods across Toronto. Visitors are invited to jump in bed with Casper and give the mattress a spin. The Snooze Room is stationed at King and Portland (602 King St. West) until August 14th. Afterward, you’ll be able to find it in Liberty Village (80 Lynn Williams St.) from August 19-21 and two spots in Yorkville: Yonge and Bloor (2 Bloor West) and Bay and Bloor (121 Bay Street).
The Gladstone Flea is on their second last market of the Summer. The local marketplace is open on Sunday, August 14th from 10am to 4pm. Spend your weekend knee-deep in all things vintage and local made, from vendors like Your Pal Al, COVEN by Sonia Kang, Koyama Press, GLT Vintage and more. Plus, Erika from Go Fish Tarot will be reading tarot!
There’s a new shop on the Ossington strip and it’s bringing organic temporary tattoos to the masses! From August 5-13th, inkbox will be open at 12 Ossington Ave. Shoppers can choose from 300 temporary tattoo designs for just $20 (that’s a 20-40% discount on online prices!). The temporary tatts use a 100% organic fruit-based formula that looks and feels like a real tattoo, minus the needles! With investors like Survivor‘s Jeff Probst and Emmy award-nominated actress Alison Sweeney, you know they’ve gotta be good! The shop is open Mondays-Fridays 12pm-8pm, Saturdays 11am-8pm, and Sundays 12pm-7pm.

Phase one of the TASTE MRKT is now open at the Scarborough Town Centre and promises a worldly food experience like no other. The lower level offers a premium food and dining experience, with a new dish and cutlery service and additional seating. Eaters have a variety of options to choose from – from Mediterranean to Indian and Thai to Caribbean cuisines – and there’s way more to come as STC starts on the second phase of their $62-million renovation.
