New York-based eyewear brand Warby Parker has opened its first international location right. Situated in our own backyard at 684 Queen St West, the brand has released 2 custom frames the ‘Durand’ in Moss, and ‘Chamberlain’ in Jet Black to celebrate. The frames are only available in Canada, can you say #exclusive? Heads up: upon entering you may for a moment think you have accidentally stepped into a library… don’t worry you are in the right place.

If you’re cruising around the Queen West ‘hood this weekend, be sure to stop by the Queen West Alley Sale. The sale takes place on Saturday, August 6th (11:00am to 6:00pm) in the alley behind 642-644 Queen St. West and features local stores and designers like Armed, MARY YOUNG, BRIKA Toronto, The Cure Apothecary, Smoke + Ash and Canon Blanc. Youth charity Me to We has opened its first retail location WE in Toronto’s CF Eaton Centre. Cadillac Fairview has donated the retail space, marking the beginning of a recent partnership. The 500 square foot WE Store offers ME to WE products that empower customers to change the world with their everyday consumer choices. Every ME to WE purchase gives a life-changing gift to a child or family in WE Charity’s partner communities, from school supplies to health care to alternative income opportunities.

Holt Renfrew opened the doors to a 130,000 square foot flagship store at Square One shopping centre on July 28th, replacing the smaller location previously found at CF Sherway Gardens. The two-storey space features an impressive roster of designer brands such as Chloe, Longchamp, and Manolo Blahnik with more to come this fall.
