Some people hate getting older, but we commend it! In fact, we’re firm believers that (almost) everything gets better with age, including one of our favourite places to pick up denim in Toronto, Over the Rainbow! This year, Over the Rainbow is celebrating their 40th anniversary – a pretty big feat (especially for a family owned, independent retailer!) considering the dwindling number of retailers in Canada lately. To celebrate 4 decades in the business, Over the Rainbow has organized a full year of exclusive launches, product collaborations and events with some of their most coveted lines including Paige Denim, Naked & Famous, Line Knitwear, Moose Knuckles and most recently, H.D Lee Union / Lee 101 USA.
Classified as one of the original denim brands (you know you totally owned a pair!), Lee is revitalizing their heritage with modern silhouettes in their SS15 men’s line, which will be exclusively sold at Over the Rainbow. The collection is made of American-made selvage denim which is exclusively used & pioneered by Lee. Check out some of the pieces from the collection below. Prices range from $165 to $400 and if you know good denim, you know it’s totally worth it!
Tonight, kick off the Toronto retailer’s 40th as Over the Rainbow celebrates the launch of Lee’s SS15 collection. You’ll have the opportunity to meet Lee’s head designer Peter Lang Nooch, mingle with Toronto’s most fashionable, munch on yummy treats and sip on some bubbly! RSVPs are mandatory for the event – find out how you can RSVP here.
