To celebrate Canada’s 150 year anniversary, Canada’s National Parks are doing something pretty awesome!
As a new Liberal government initiative, Parks Canada will make park access free for all users in 2017 and for youth and new Canadians starting in 2018.

If you’ve never been to a national park it’s truly a treat. Canada is home to some of the most breath-taking scenery anywhere in the world and the chance to view it for free is an amazing opportunity.

“It’s a great way to introduce those who have yet to visit a park and those who have maybe lost familiarity with our parks, to reconnect.” Says Darren Reeder – Executive Director of the Banff Lake Louise Hospitality Association.

As it’s the start of 2016 and everyone is making resolutions, we suggest making a resolution to take a trip to a National Park in 2017.
