Yesterday, we were invited over to the Templar Hotel for Rudsak‘s Spring/Summer 14 preview. Even though we got to check out their runway show at WMCFW a few weeks ago, we were still super excited to see the garments up close and personal, especially a certain pair of metallic overalls.
For the most part, the collection is made up of neutrals such as black, white and tan, with accents of metallic, crocodile and snakeskin. The metallic is actually painted on to the leather and crinkles naturally to provide a subtle texture. Aside from leather garments, Rudsak has also been working on expanding their apparel collection for the past year or so. Pieces are very reasonably priced and range from $89 for a light jumpsuit to $345 for a leather fronted dress. I was literally dying for everything in this collection, especially a reversible metallic clutch, leather trimmed neoprene pants and a crocodile vest.
Rudsak’s Spring/Summer collection is the perfect example of how to wear leather feminine and elegantly. They’ve proved you don’t always have to look like the Sons of Anarchy – unless you want to – when rocking leather.
