and we couldn’t be more excited. The two brands have selected Yorkdale Shopping Centre, as the locations for first Canadian Sandro and MAJE flagship stores.
If you’ve never heard of the brands, both SANDRO Paris and MAJE are brands that are heavily rooted in Parisian attitude and styling, while offering on-trend, high-quality products with global appeal. SANDRO Paris focuses on sleek, Paris-centric womenswear and menswear while MAJE Paris is recognised for their boho-chic appeal.
The new awesome Yorkdale locations will introduce Canadian shoppers to the first Flagship locations for the hotly anticipated Parisian brands.
“Canadian shoppers have a European heritage and sensibility to styling which is very much in line with the Parisian Chic DNA of our brands,” said Paul Griffin, President & CEO, SMCP North America. “Yorkdale is the highest performing shopping centre in Canada with the strongest mix of accessible luxury. The choice of Yorkdale as our gateway into Canada was part of our larger strategy to expand our freestanding footprint in that market, as we continue to develop our North American business.”
SANDRO Paris and MAJE Paris will debut within Yorkdale’s newest expansion wing. The $331-million, 300,000 square foot space will host 20 new boutiques, and marks the first expansion for Yorkdale since 2013. With a sales-per-square-foot of $1,610, Yorkdale is Canada’s most successful shopping centre.
