A while back we introduced you to Toronto creative Shane Vitaly Foran. First, the team at StyleDemcoracy did a spotlight on Shane, highlighting the creation of his standout jewelry brand Vitaly. We followed this up with a cool project we worked on showcasing Shane’s success and highlighting his experiences as an AXE mentor.
As Shane continues his work with AXE, he has become one of three Canadians part of the AXE Canada’s Selfmaker program. These Selfmakers are guys who define success on their own terms and defy outdated labels and definitions of traditional masculinity.
As part of the Selfmaker program, AXE, Three Canadian Selfmakers (Shane Foran included) and TenThousandCoffees.com have put together a cool speaker series where Toronto creatives and entrepreneurs can meet the Selfmakers and ask them questions regarding their business’, and how they continue to be a Selfmaker.
The Toronto Selfmaker Café powered by AXE event will be moderated by StyleDemocracy’s own Grayson Miller and will be an informal discussion on what makes Shane tick and advice he has on creating a solid creative business in the Canadian fashion landscape. Through the Selfmaker Café, Shane will host this one-to-one or group meet-up event to help inspire young entrepreneurs who are also looking to make moves, or dive into a new scene.
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to make it in the fashion/ Toronto creative industries this is your chance to take part in an informative career-focused event.
