To be honest, I’ve always been skeptical of purchasing bras, panties, and swimwear online – what if it doesn’t fit or what if it looks weird in real life? But when a friend suggested, I had to give it a shot. If you’re a Bare Necessities newbie like I was, let me give you a brief rundown: Bare Necessities is best known as the largest online retailer of women & men’s designer intimates & underwear, but that’s not all they carry. They’ve also got an unparalleled selection of bras, bra sized swimwear up to K cup, and most recently, shoes! The perfect fit no longer just applies to the perfect bra. Now you can find your perfect fitting shoe at Bare Necessities.

At first, I’ll admit that that I was a bit intimidated by how large their selection was, but breaking it down was simple. All their bras are categorized by size, and style, which is a much easier way to shop than having to dig through drawers or racks with limited sizes and styles in a mall. As for swimwear, Bare Necessities has come to the full-busted woman’s rescue and has set her free! Now women can get the same great fit and support in their swimwear, as they do in their bra. The options are endless, thanks to Bare Necessities bikinis, tankinis and one pieces available up to K cup, and their endless selection of swim bottoms to mix and match with any swim top.

Even though it’s still a bit chilly out, I decided to jump the gun and splurge on two swimsuits. I went with an off the shoulder number (see above) by Huit 8, a lingerie and swimwear line from France and a bandeau one-piece (see header image) by Anita. I was worried about the fit, but’s ‘no-hassle’ return policy soothed my woes and when the suits arrived, I was nothing less than delighted! The cuts of both suits offer a glam vintage feel, but what I most love about them is their versatility. With the Anita bandeau suit, I’m able to switch up the straps to make the one-piece strapless or a halter. The Anita swimsuit also features foam lined underwire cups, which provides great support! The Huit one-piece also has built in underwire cups, but my favourite part about the swimsuit is the back, which features ultra-feminine & sexy criss-cross straps. Though it’s too soon to hop into a pool, I will definitely be rocking these one-pieces as bodysuits with a nice pair of denim until the warm weather comes out.
