There's A Free Magical Event Happening In Yorkville

The winter is right around the corner and If you’re not feeling festive enough yet, we’ve got a “magical” event to help you tune into the holiday spirit.

The annual Holiday Magic lighting ceremony is bringing music and a vibrant “Flick the Switch” Lighting show to Bloor-Yorkville.

The FREE event will take place on Saturday, November 18 from 5:00pm – 6:30pm and will celebrate the return of the holiday season.

This year’s headliner is a Canadian R&B/Pop superstar, actress and philanthropist Keshia Chanté, who will be performing her chart-topping singles along with some festive holiday favourites.

The Holiday Magic would be a great occasion to get together with your family, do some holiday shopping, soak the arts and culture and enjoy a cosy dinner at one of the area’s restaurants.

If you’re still not convinced to mark your calendar on November 18, one more thing to add – The ceremony will support the Canadian Foundation For Aids Research (CANFAR) that has been raising awareness to generate funds for research into all aspects of HIV infection and AIDS since 1987.
