For Canadians whose daily morning routine includes a trip to Tim Hortons, this news may break your heart: the popular coffee chain is increasing its prices.
According to Yahoo, Tim Hortons posted signs indicating price increases beside cash registers at Tim Hortons locations today. The good news is, the price increase doesn’t apply to all menu items, only a few, including hot beverages and breakfast menu items.
The price jump will take effect on Wednesday, August 2.
Back in November 2014, Tim Hortons raised prices on hot beverages and breakfast sandwiches by an average of 10 cents throughout Canada, and in 2012, they raised prices of sandwiches 10 to 20 cents, so it’s likely we will see similar price adjustments.
