Times are a changing and these days, if you’re thinking about buying a car, you’re probably not too interested in talking to a salesperson at a car dealership all day. It can be intimidating and with the world wide web at our disposal, all of the information we need is at our fingertips.

But still, there’s something about being able to physically see your car of interest, and though traditional car salespeople might be a thing of the past, it’s still nice to get some insight from individuals that know the product best.

Enter “Towards Tomorrow by Toyota, a set of stores that have popped up in select shopping centres in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.

The interactive pop-ups are perfect for those on the hunt for a new set of wheels, without the pressure of a salesperson.

Each location allows visitors to test out different car features using virtual reality. The Toyota Virtual Reality Experience allows users to test the 2017 Corolla iM and experience three advanced safety technologies: the Toyota Pre-Collision System, Lane Departure Alert, and Automatic High Beams.

The Joy of Play allows visitors to use their own hands in a 3D world to explore and play with different Toyota vehicles and a Safety Sense Learning Station brings advanced safety technologies to life through video and a learning gallery.

Talk about living in the future #amiright?

Visitors also have the opportunity to browse four vehicles in-house, from the Toyota 86 sport coupe, to the Corolla iM sport hatch, the Corolla sedan, the Prius hybrid lift-back, or the RAV4 Hybrid.
