Turns out a Sears Clerk stole $3.7 Million in Merchandise
How she managed to pull this off, we aren’t sure! Supposedly an Inventory clerk at a Sears Holding Corp Distribution centre in New Jersey has been arrested for stealing merchandise worth $3.7 million in retail value and selling it for cash and services through an established network she created in the Tri-State Area.
After an investigation, Authorities arrested Kim Watson who supposedly stole items ranging from kitchen appliances to bedding and everything in between. Also according to reports her networks of buyers knew the merchandise was stolen.
The investigation is continuing and Watson has been charged with second degree theft and is imprisoned pending $50,000 bail.
