Mexican food lovers will be happy to hear that Vancouver’s Tacofest is making a triumphant return! The third annual event will take place at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, B.C. on Saturday, July 8th.
With the North Shore mountains as the fest’s backdrop, the 10-hour event promises to thrill tastebuds with a variety of food trucks and taco stands. Guests will be entertained with live music, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a Ring of Fire Taco eating contest. In addition, a panel of local celebrities will be voting for Vancouver’s best taco. While no 2017 vendors have been announced yet, last year’s line-up included foodie favourites like El Cartel Food truck, The Fish Shack by Global, Holi Masala Food Truck, Johnny’s Popsicle Cart, and Mollies Donut Truck, to name a few.
Tickets to the family-friendly event are $20 in advance or $25 at the gate and include two free food/beverage tokens. Get full details about the event on the official Tacofest website here.
