If you’ve been paying attention, you know that Vans has been super active as of late. With the opening  of the Vans store at Mapleview Mall in Burlington, the brand celebrated the opening of its second Canadian store on Toronto’s Yonge Street with an in-store event Saturday December 8 from 12-3pm. The downtown Toronto location is a sight to be seen! It incorporates state of the art in design and will serve as Vans’ flagship store for a new design that is currently rolling out globally. Legendary skater John Cardiel was at the store for a meet and greet with fans and deliver his favorite tracks on the turntables as the event’s guest DJ! There was so much happening at this event!  Not only was John doing his thing, Los Angeles based artist Greg ”Pnut” Galinsky met with fans and custom painted free hats for everyone in attendance.

The brand’s authentic history and foundation within actions sports, art and music is depicted beautifully in the new store. Think the store is all about shoes? Your wrong… You can find a full line of Vans product from accessories to clothing.

The Vans Canadian Flagship store is located at 245 Yonge Street between Dundas and Queen Streets, neighboring The Toronto Eaton Centre, and Yonge-Dundas Square.
