I find dressing for Toronto weather always a little a bit difficult. Take today for example, this morning it was 13 degrees, in the afternoon it reached 26, and by night they are predicting rain. Since I’m usually out of the house for most of the day I try to dress for any type of situation. Typically this results in layering. I have found that a lightweight summer jacket is essential for early mornings and late nights. Today I’m rocking one of my favourite Jackets. I’m a little obsessed with New York based brand Supreme, so whenever I get a chance to work some of their pieces into an outfit I go for it.

Another summer tip: If you look closely, the sleeves on my Mexx shirt have been rolled. I often find great patterned shirts that are just a little to much as a long sleeve dress shirt, but for some reason look great as a short sleeve. You can easily cut the sleeves off your old shirts, giving you a new summer shirt option.

Finally for summer you really can’t go wrong with a pair of espadrilles, my slippers of choice- TOMS.
