Trades and barters are back and bigger than ever thanks to websites like Swapsity and online communities like the Bunz Trading Zone, where members trade services and goods for hot tickets items. With the ever-growing popularity of no cash transactions, it was only time until corporate companies found ways to market around the trend. First up? Skittles!

The colorful candy brand recently announced they would be opening up a Skittles Pawn Shop in Toronto where visitors can drop by to trade unwanted Christmas gifts and more for, you guessed it, it’s worth in Skittles! The shop, located at 242 Queen Street West, is open from December 26th to December 30th between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Skittles pawnbrokers will be on-site, appraising items and trading their value in Skittles. All of the gifts collected will be donated to charity.

Trading something you were probably going to shove under your bed for candy sounds like a pretty sweet deal to us. You might even be able to trade your skittles for something even better in a barter group!
