8 Fun Things To Check Out At The Toronto Christmas Market
The Distillery District’s Toronto Christmas Market is now in full force.
Taking over pretty much every square inch of the historic ‘hood, the Christmas Market offers everything from shopping and entertainment, to ample opportunities to eat, drink, and be merry AF. Here are eight things to check out this year.
Get a Photo of Your Pet with Santa Claus
Because your dog has been a “good boy” or “good girl” and is obviously your child, it makes complete sense to take it to visit Santa. Every Tuesday at 2 pm and 7:30 pm, your dog can be photographed with Santa as a holiday keepsake –a picture guaranteed to roll in likes on social media.
Get Your Chocolate Fondue Fix
New this year, guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with a dreamy chocolate fondue station next to Cluny Bistro. Making the comforting sweetness of the creamy chocolate even more enjoyable is no shortage of beer or mulled wine.
Snap a Photo with the Tree
You can’t hit the Christmas Market and not take a picture in front of the massive Christmas tree. The 50-foot-tree was donated by Forests Ontario and Ontario Wood and is adorned with over 40,000 lights, 800 ornaments, and two kilometres of gold ribbon.
Mow Down on a Massive Pretzel
Throughout the market, you’ll find an assortment of massive pretzels that you didn’t know you were missing in your life. Whether you opt for comforting and savoury or chocolate covered and sweet, these larger-than-life pretzels are worth breaking your diet for.
