As one of our most popular topics on the blog, customer service is extremely important to our readers. As a StyleDemocracy reader, we know it’s important to you to spend your money in the best way possible which means getting good value out of products and getting great customer service. Which is why we were a little dismayed to get ongoing tips from shoppers about the poor service at one of our favourite stores.
Through direct conversations with customers, messages on social sites and through Google and Yelp reviews it seems as if customers are downright unhappy with the service at the New Canada Goose flagship in Yorkdale. Although any store or restaurant can succumb to the efforts of one peeved customer, it seems as if the problem is bigger than that and is not solely a one off angry shopper.
Without diving too deep into the situation, it seems as if there is a disconnect between the high quality of product customers are shopping, the beautiful design of the store and the attention in-store customers are receiving.
Simply put, if you are spending over $1,000 on a jacket you should get and receive outstanding customer service.
Here are some of the reviews we found that give a little insight as to what’s happening at the store. Out of the 22 Google Reviews available, only 4 were above one-star and only two reviews were a five-star and one of those reviews came with a quote “give me more discount” .
We hope the flagship store check out their reviews and tries to adapt their service. At the end of the day Canada Goose has a great product, and if the service aligns with the product then the Flagship store should see continued success.
