If you’re a frequent visitor of Yorkdale Shopping Centre, you’ll know that it’s packed at all times of the day, no matter the season. And with all the hustle and bustle that takes place inside the mall, we’ll admit, even we get a little intimidated!
However, with all the recent retail additions, Yorkdale is, without a doubt, one of the GTA’s prime locations for holiday shopping. It’s a one-stop shop, complete with mouth-watering restaurant and food options, amazing stores, and for this season, a unique boutique that’ll relieve the stress that comes with holiday errands!
Located across from Pottery Barn, The Avion Holiday Boutique is life-changing, to say the least. If you’re going to brave busy Yorkdale mall, you’re definitely going to want to take a load off and relax here.
While parts of the Avion Holiday Boutique are open to all shoppers, Avion Card Holders aka Avioners get a bunch of special perks, including complimentary gift wrapping, coat and parcel check, valet parking, a VIP lounge, and cafe.
Along with complimentary services, the boutique also features a VR Experience, where shoppers can take a break from the mall and travel across the world to a warm beach, sunny golf course or gourmet kitchen. Once the VR headset’s on, users can escape and explore gifts they can redeem with Avion points.
“Christmas and the holidays are expensive, so using rewards points is another way to do your shopping.” Jennifer Howard, head of Marketing, Cards & Payments at RBC tells us, “You don’t have to spend money, you can just use your points and buy people gifts!”
Another new feature is the Avion Passport App, which gives users access to exclusive RBC Rewards offers and non-Avion cardholders access to complimentary gift wrapping with a donation.
The Avion Holiday Boutique is open now until December 31st. RBC Avion cardholders can simply present their Avion credit card to access all the complimentary services.
Not an Avion cardholder? Don’t fret! You can still access the gift wrapping and coat and parcel cheque for a donation to the SickKids Foundation or apply to be an Avioner on-site at the Boutique.
