Beauty Review: The Body Shop’s Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
Last week, we got to attend The Body Shop‘s preview of their fall 2013 line. One product line we were introduced to was the Petal Power line of make-up removers. The first product I decided to test out was the Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter.
The product comes in a sleek silver, circular tin and when twisted open fills your nose with a calming, fresh camomile scent. Like the name says, it is as smooth as butter and you don’t need much to remove what you’ve got going on on your eyes.
I used about two small circular swipes of the product on a cotton pad and gently rubbed the butter onto my closed eyelids. Within a few minutes, my eyes were completely clean and make-up free. Additionally, the scent left on my face was a hit with my boyfriend!
The only thing I would note is to use the make-up remover before you wash your face and to wipe your eyes with a damp cloth or to splash the make-up remover off with water after using the cleansing butter. I had made the mistake of doing neither of the aforementioned and because the product is buttery, had make-up residue melting down my face.
After properly using the cleansing butter, I’m reporting that this stuff rocks. It’s super smooth on your eyes and doesn’t sting one bit. It literally melts away your make-up and your face smells extra fresh afterwards. I give this product a 10 out of 10 and suggest you all buy it when it comes out this fall!
