Tim Hortons has decided to venture into high-end premium coffee, which means you could have better coffee – but it will come with a larger price tag.

The CBC is reporting that Tim Hortons is testing out premium latte and espresso coffees in Vancouver and London, with a full roll out in 2017.

You might be a little confused like we were, Tims already has an assortment of specialty coffees, however, according the the CBC, the new coffees will be made to order with premium ingredients.

The upgrades will come with hefty costs for Tim Hortons franchise operators.  A published report indicates that Tim Hortons franchisees will have to fork up $12,000 for a new espresso machine.
The new coffees are expected to be more expensive. Lattes and cappuccinos will cost several more dollars,  and people will be expected to “treat” themselves at Tim Horton’s location.
