The Etsy Roadtrip hits Toronto this Weekend
If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend in Toronto, then we’ve got just the event for you! Everyone’s favourite online marketplace, full of talented tastemakers and creators, hit the road for a four-city Canadian tour earlier this month. The #EtsyRoadTrip crew embarked on an exciting adventure aboard a custom 30-foot AirStream trailer and will be in two Toronto locations starting Friday, August 8th until Saturday, August 9th! You totally don’t want to miss this ‘Etsy-fied’ event that will feature everything including local Etsy vendors, live music, local food trucks, photo booths, handmade felt-cactuses, balloons, and more!
On Friday, August 8th, the #EtsyRoadTrip will be downtown on the south side of King Street West and Brant Street. You can expect flower crowns and pretty vintage inspired apparel from Jordan De Ruiter, nail art and accessories from Nail Kandy, handcrafted neckties and bowties from Handsome and Lace, and meticulously crafted handbags from Grace Designs. You’ll be able to dance to live musical performances by Emmy Rouge and Michael Rault, and if you’re feeling hungry there will be food trucks by BeaverTails Pastry, Gourmet Gringos, and We Got Balls.
On Saturday, August 9th, the #EtsyRoadTrip will be in the beautiful Distillery District! The vendors will be the same as Friday, minus Nail Kandy plus Kiriki Press – which sells adorable embroidered plush dolls and Kiriki Press DIY kits. There will be live music by Taylor Knox and delicious food and treats from We Got Balls and Choco Churros.
