Bloomberg is reporting that Apple Inc. plans on making a major transformation to the new high-end iPhone which is expected to be released in the upcoming months. While the basic design of the iPhone hasnt’ changed since 2007, Bloomberg is touting that the next iPhone will be different because the physical home button will be eliminated.

If you are an iPhone user, the home button is one of the most crucial design elements to the entire phone. It helps you access siri, it’s used as a security check and it helps you navigate the different apps within your phone.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is preparing to launch three new iPhones next month, and one of the models is drastically different from any previous iPhone.  Supposedly, the screen is crisper and takes up the entire front of the phone. While details are not concrete, Apple has tested the complete removal of the home button, even a digital one in favour of multitasking gestures, and more fluid controls.
