Currently, Joe Fresh is only distributed in North America, with a strong presence in the U.S. through the J.C. Penney franchise. The move will put Grauso in charge of overseeing Joe Fresh’s daily operations, all well as me the force behind strategic partnerships and international retail expansion!
Grauso starts October 7th, and will report directly to Joe Mimran, president of Joseph Mimran & Associates Inc. and Creative Director of thh Joe Fresh brand for Loblaws.
“The company has gotten to a size where we really felt we needed a chief operating officer to help me continue to grow the business and take it to the next level,” Mimran told WWD. “We’ve been searching for the right individual. Mario has great credentials, just having left Vera Wangas president, managing her business and brand and driving it domestically through licensing and strategic partnerships and expanding it internationally. That was the level of experience we were looking for. This gives me more time to focus on the creative part of the business, which is the key driver.”
