Last Friday I was invited to go check out some new releases from New Balance. As you guys know, we love New Balance over here at StyleDemocracy so I was definitely excited to go see the new goodies NB had to offer.
Bright neon colours, and technological innovations were on display this collection. If you’re into technical running and athletic shoes, New Balance has you covered. If I ever get seriously back into working out, I need a pair of New Balance MNL574’s. The MNL574 features lightweight, performance- tested Minimus technology. The shoe blends leather and mesh and comes in a ridiculous array of colours. The lo pro Minimus sole is lightweight, but durable. Totally digging it.
If you think the tech stuff is cool, in my opinion where NB is truly killing it is in their lifestyle department. Slowly but surely after the cool kids brought them back, vintage looking New Balances are making a BIG comeback. I absolutely loved the Made in Japan editions (featured below washed green & Red) with the REVlte
Cushioning system, so fresh. You can wear them with khakis, jeans or even a suit (Yes a suit, if you don’t believe me, pick up any GQ mag from the past couple of months). They are just so versatile, and as long as you don’t pair them with dad jeans and a black turtleneck ( a-la- Steve Jobs) you’ll look fly.
The ladies collection was definitely on point as well. With bright colours and exciting new technologies in almost every shoe you’ll be sure to look great in the gym or on the street.
