If you frequent the blog, you know we often talk about Fred Perry. We love the history, the attention to details and the way that FP seemingly blends the worlds of sportswear and streetwear.
About a month ago we got a peek at the new Fred Perry collection at the Standard Apparel Spring Summer 2013 preview (the collection will be out in early january 2013). We loved what we saw, so we were stoked when we finally got the opportunity to head into the Fred Perry store and profile it for our Store Of The Week.
The Fred Perry store has been a staple on West Queen West for a little over 4 years (just a stone’s throw east of Ossington 964 Queen West), and is beautifully merchandised. If you’re huge Fred Perry fans like us, you’ll drool over the most perfect polo display we think we’ve ever seen. You’ll love the little pieces of Fred Perry history lined on the wall (We saw a game used Fred Perry tennis racquet and ball set… pretty cool), and you’ll love the super knowledgable staff that will help you in your pursuit of something FP.
We sat down with store manager Natasha Cook, to get the scoop on what’s up and coming for Fred Perry in the near future.
Without giving away too many details, because everything isn’t finalized – Fred Perry is working on some awesome collaborations. Confirmed collaboration that will be at the Toronto store include: Amy Winehouse and Bradley Wiggins (exciting) unconfirmed include Raf Simmons and No Doubt (SUPER EXCITING).
With a product range that includes everything from small accessories to outerwear to footwear for both men and women, Fred Perry Toronto should definitely be one of your go to shopping destinations in Toronto.
