If you’re someone who can’t get enough of decadent French macaron, and other treats, then you’ll want to head over to Ladurée’s new downtown Toronto location ASAP.

The 157 year old patisserie announced in September that it was opening a downtown Toronto outpost, and it’s finally open as of today, December 4.

According to Retail-Insider, the new 680 square-foot location will have seating for 16 guests and additional seating at the “macaron bar.” Guests can expect 14 different flavours of classic and seasonal macaron flavours throughout the year.

The upscale French bakery opened its Yorkdale location in 2017 and while that location currently sits at 1,185-square feet, it’s clear that this slightly smaller downtown store won’t lack in deliciousness.

This new outpost marks Ladurée’s fourth location in Canada. The patisserie currently has nearly 40 stores in France, with a few others in countries like Switzerland, Germany, and Japan.

In addition to the tasty treats the patisserie is obviously well known for, you can also expect a great selection of to-go items like salads, quiche, as well as coffees and teas for a pick-me-up.

The new Ladurée is located inside the PATH, in the Exchange Tower at 130 King Street West.
