Unless you’ve been living under the proverbial rock, you’ve heard that Target Canada is shutting down operations in Canada. If you follow the blog, you may have heard that Target is planning on starting liquidations as soon as Thursday February 5th 2015. If you’re planning to go check it out (if you’re a bargain hunter we suggest you do) here’s a list of some of the best products to get your hands on before they are all sold out!
Regardless of liquidation prices, Target has some of the best “inexpensive” furniture and accessories out there (last time we checked they still had their Moroccan inspired collection on the shelves, and it’s very nice! ). For sure check out the lighting section, the carpet and throw pillows section, and the bathroom accessories department. If you can grab any Nate Berkus home decor products (including throw blankets, pillows and picture frames) you can find.
If you’re into beauty supplies, check out Sonia Kashuk makeup, brushes and cosmetic bags and Pixi makeup, brushes and nail polish.
For all the new mothers and fathers out there, Target’s baby section is actually pretty solid. Try to get your hands on Circo baby clothes and accessories, including receiving blankets, towels and swimsuits.
As far as clothing goes, there are actually a few brands you should try to get your hands on, especially if you have kids. It will sell out quickly but try to grab some Beaver Canoe clothing, including hooded sweatshirts, T-shirts and sweatpants. Additionally, if you’re a lover on 90’s nostalgia why not grab some Massimo clothing (it should be dirt cheap).
FInally if you are heading to Target to grab some cheap food, may we suggest B-lining to the area where they house the Archer Farms food line ( It’s bomb! )
