Toronto is Getting a $25 Million Water Theme Park

The new Wet’n’Wild will see Premier Parks invest $25 Million to improving the existing Wild Water Kingdom structure.

It’s hard to imagine hanging out at a high-tech waterpark when it’s currently pushing minus 20 degrees in Toronto.  While it may be hard to think of anything other than freezing your butt off, Premier Parks LLC – an operator of water parks across the U.S. has acquired the former Wild Water Kingdom and has announced that they will be bringing Wet’n’Wild brand to Toronto by spring 2017.

The new Wet’n’Wild will see Premier Parks invest $25 Million to improving  the existing Wild Water Kingdom structure.

The Wet’n’Wild brand will bring Canadian Flavour to their first Canadian Park. The park’s revamp will include major attractions the Krazy Kanuck family raft ride, a mega treehouse play structure for the kids, and the Wet‘n’Wild Junior mini water park for the little ones, a bowl slide, free fall speed slides, and the Klondike Express mat slide racer. Parents and kids will have a blast experiencing the longest and tallest drop slides in Canada and the World!

Season passes go on sale next week and may be purchased by going to  Water park enthusiasts can join the Wild Rewards Club to receive the first chance to buy introductory passes, get specials and fun information on park activities!
