StyleDemocracy was founded in 1999 in Toronto, Canada, as the original warehouse sale event management company for leading global fashion and lifestyle brands. To date, StyleDemocracy has executed over 450 sale events for dozens of your favourite brands and retailers.
We’re a dynamic team made up of results-crazed, retail, event management, and digital marketing professionals with a common goal of providing the world’s biggest brands with world-class solutions.

In 2012, we strategically turned StyleDemocracy’s email list of a few thousand warehouse sale shoppers into a powerful digital marketing platform for brands and retailers.
Today, StyleDemocracy.com and our digital properties is an exciting and growing media outlet speaking to hundreds of thousands of people per day through our various digital platforms, while continuing to be the leading warehouse sale event management company in North America. StyleDemocracy is also dedicated to sustainability – we are the answer to the question, “What should a brand do with overstock?”

SD’s roots are built on family and legacy. Michael Berg, SD’s Founder + President, started the business in 1999 after working with his father and grandfather in a previous family business – Ira Berg. Today, Michael’s son, Oliver Berg works alongside him as the company’s Vice President.

General Questions

How do I know if it is a StyleDemocracy managed event?
In our Event Section under “Organizer” you will see whether the event is being managed and operated by StyleDemocracy or one of our brand partners.

What is your return policy?
Due to the limited-time nature of StyleDemocracy Warehouse Sales, both online and in-person purchases are final sale, meaning no refunds and no exchanges.

What if I have an issue with my purchase or an issue in general?
Please email service@styledemocracy.com and we’ll help you asap!

What if I have an issue with a purchase at one of our brand partner’s events?
If there is an issue with your purchase at a non-StyleDemocracy event, please contact the event organizer directly.

When can I expect my order?
If you ordered from one of our online warehouse sales, orders are handed over to Canada Post within 5 business days after the sale ends. You will receive a tracking number via email when your order ships.

How much is shipping?
Within Canada, shipping is free over $150 and $10 under that amount. Shipping is $20 to the USA. We do not deliver outside the US and Canada.

What types of payment do you accept?
At our in-person warehouse sales, we accept all major credit cards; no cash. At our online warehouse sales, we accept all major credit cards and we partner with Sezzle, so you can pay in interest-free instalments.
